16oz draft at the Newport News airport. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with about a finger of thick tan head. Aroma is citrus hops and orange peel. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Very nice citrus taste. Medium bodied with a long finish. Overall, very good. I’d gladly drink this again.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Total Wine - Richmond, 7/12/09
Aroma: Nice earthy and fruity hops, pine, grapefruit
Appearance: Cloudy light brownish amber color,
Flavor: Similar to the nose with a bit of an odd finish that detracts from the taste, nice hop taste in there though
Palate: Light-medium body, pretty smooth, dry, and a drop soapy
Overall Impression: I got a good impression from the nose, and the beer itself isn't bad either, it's not great by any means, but it's worth a drink.

Deep copper coloured body with a nice tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, clean malt, cardboard and some soap. Medium-bodied; Fresh hops up front in taste with a bit of a kick-nice flavour throughout. Overall, a nice pale-a bit more malt than a normal APA - great to try! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 23 November 2006 (Thanksgiving).

12oz bottle-pours a thin light tan head and amber color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops, medium malt-caramel. Taste is sweet citrus hops, medium malt-caramel, some sulfur and other off characters [some tannins and a bit over-boiled?] mild carbonation.

Beautiful hazy amber color with a creamy head. Light aroma of caramel, hop, raisins. Good body, and smooth mouthfeel, with a good caramel flavor and a very powerful hopping, well aromatic, a bit fruity (bitter oranges). Pleasant.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of alcohol and berries. The flavor is sweet and again very malty combined with a strong note of alcohol, that burns the throat, and lighter notes of berries and fruit. Very simple - too simple for my liking.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Intense hop aroma - also with some caramel and phenols. Medium body with caramel and nut accents - a little fruit also. Hoppy finish with a surprising alcohol bite. 171107

Sweet hop aroma, ochre color, little head. Moderately to heavily bitter. A little doughy well afterwards, a delayed reaction. Interesting and unique but entirely too floral. I couldn’t drink a lot of it and it’s definitely not what I look for in a beer.
