On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Bread, floral, oddly sweet, little floral. Medium body. Bad.

On tap at Legend, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy, cardboard notes with biscuity malt. Flavour is very herbal and cardboardy, with earthy notes and bready malt. This isn't good.

Pretty good for what it is. I can taste the saaz. Finishes with nice crisp bitterness. Pours golden with good head and lacing. On tap at DC Beer Festival.

Location: Draft at Capital Ale House, 11/26/10

Aroma: The nose is clean and fresh, some grass, floral notes, and caramel malts
Appearance: This beer pours a clear golden-yellow color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is malty, nice floral sweetness, and a crisp hoppy finish
Palate: A very nice, crisp and clean pilsner with a really solid drinkability
Overall Impression: This is a really solid pilsner. Another really nice offering from a favorite hometown brewery of mine. Legend makes some very solid beers, and this one is no expection. It was quite smooth, flavorful, clean, and drinkable.

Copper color, foamy head. Grassy aroma with a grainy background that also hinted at sweet dough or toffee. Or is it butterscotch? Sweetish butterscotch malts take precedent in the flavor with a grassy hop finish that is balanced and not very bitter. Decent enough but a touch more "euro strong lager" than pilsner.

Aroma is skunky and feety grain. Gold color, thick white head. Sweet corn taste, grass on the palate. Much too sweet and hopless. Not typical of the brewer’s ability.

22 ox. Bottle. I’m a little shocked. Little skunky aroma that I’m used to with pilsner beers. Yellow color with white head. Fruity and hoppy flavors.
