Brewing innovation is about asking "what if?". What if we gave an IPA a new identity and used some of our favorite West Coast hops, with their grapefruit, piney, & tropical fruit character, in a lager? The result is this boldly hoppy & and flavorful brew with the crisp smoothness of a lager. Cheers!

Bottle. Great beer. Loved the rich citrus hop taste that one finds in a IPAD but had that crisp refreshing finish of a lager. Great stuff.

Yikes, found this rating from February 21, 2015. trapped at girlfriend's parents house. bottle says enjoy by july 2014. :( Poured a kind of light copper color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was earthy hops, crisp grassy character here. Clean, easy to drink. Okay.

Pours a dark straw from a bottle, lots of lacing. Aroma of citrus fruits, flavor a thin watery lemon. Meh.

Not bad but not quite as easy drinking or good as ordinal session ipas. Pours hazy amber without much head or lacing. Light sour and bitter finish. Bottle from Chevy chase.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle with a best by date of July, 2014. Aroma has a light grainy and bread character with some light citrus and tropical fruit notes. Hints of pine resin and grassy hop notes. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden orange with a pale copper character and a moderately sized, fluffy white head with nice retention. Moderately high lacing with faint legs. Flavor is light and crisp with a light grain and bread character. Medium light bitterness with medium light hop character. Hop character is fairly fruity and citrus forward with some stone fruit character. Light pine resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice IPL but it could be a bit lighter and crisper with a more hop forward and brighter presence. Otherwise, nicely balanced and easy drinking.

Bottle from QClub at home. Clear deep golden pour. Fresh hoppy aroma with a pilsner-y smell. Crisp hoppy flavor - bit piney. Definite lager taste. Very good for an easy-drinking lager.

Hazy light amber. Aroma is a bit earthy, stale. Taste is like the lager but with more hops and stale. Dull malts are kind of chewy and the alcohol muscles in at the end...high end krepkoe.
