(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, mahogany colour with a mid-sized and tanned foamy head. Mildly roasted dark malty aroma with berry-fruity notes and a tinge of acidity, accompanied by shades of chocolate and band aid. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Rather slim dark malt-character with notes of dark berries, cassis, chocolate and leather; slightly slim bitter-sweet finish with a non-detectable alcoholic strength. Slightly slim-shaped but likeable Belgian Old Ale. 11.II.14
