Draft pour pint at the Duvall taproom. Copper amber pour with a lot of fizz head and lacing. Rich caramel malt aroma. Flavor is malty, expected average sweetness, and a simple hop addition late. Easy to drink. Tasty alt.

Sampler, lots of lacing, burnt orange red color. Aroma is a bit spicy, burnt caramel, moderate strength. Flavor is much lighter but flavorful crisp woodsy feel.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, hops and caramel. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a caramel aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle from Bottleworks. Pours ruddy copper with not much of a head. Light malt aroma - not much else. Medium minus body with mild, foamy carbonation. Flavor is caramel, but not much hop. It’s a flavorful little thing, but it’s rather mild in all aspects.
