On tap @ the brewpub. Pours clear copper with off white head and some nice lacing. It has a pleasing malty aroma of roasted malts, caramel and nuttiness to go along with a faint hint of buttered bread. The taste has a nice mix of roasted malts, caramel and mild nuttiness. I also get some sweet molasses and a hint of pine hops wondering around deep in the background. Tasty malty brew with enough roasted malt dryness and mild hoppiness to keep the varied malty sweetness in check.

A big thank you goes out to riversideAK for this sample, a 12 oz brown bottle. Smells yeasty and perhaps citrusy at times. Dull copper appearance with little head when poured gently. Intial taste is medium hop bitterness then malts and even a hint of soap follows. Some smooth carbonation. A little mediciney on the finish, lingers a while.

On Tap at Maritime Pacific Seattle. Pours out a amber topped with a small white head. A pretty nice sweet malt along with a little grain. A touch of hops on this one as well.

From Skyview. Not much here to enjoy. Just a little nut flavor, but also malt, chemicals, and alcohol, strange for a beer with a low abv. Red color. I don’t get any wheat and I can’t detect any hops, which is OK for the style.

Draught Slightly hazy red-foxy beer with telltale full whipped cream nitrokeghead. Bitterish, and just a slight bit bready. Whiff of diacetyl. Woody bitterness in the taste, going over in hops. Not very assertive pale & coloured malts underneath. Deceptive creamy feel from the nitro hides a rather watery texture. Well, ho-hum ale. The "Alt" moniker is totally usurped.

Bottle Pours a hazy red-amber with a small dish water head. Lacing was actually very persistant and dense. Light malts in the aroma with a bit of a hop bite. Decent feel and a mild flavor overall. A session bero I supose and nice but not special.

Cloudy red amber. Faint carmel malt nose. Smooth malt taste with mellow hop finish. Note Significantly better on tap than in bottle
