A careful selection of Northwest hops, premium barley, and our unique yeast give this ale a rich and complex malty middle with a snappy hop finish. Crisp, clean and smooth with hints of citrus and fruit.

Much cloudier pour than I expected with a thin white head. Modest lacing. Full floral hop aroma. Medium bodied, more forest, almost but not not quite an IPA. Lekker hop finish

Sample at TRACE in Seattle. This brew pours a hazed orange color with a thin off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Notes of citrus and hops. Light-bodied with a grassy hops character and notes of citrus and malt. The finish is short and mildly hopped. Slightly above average overall.

Draught at O’Doherty’s, Spokane, WA. Hazy amber, minimal head. Some cardboard and caramel. Mid-sweet with clean mouthfeel and fairly light bodied. Crystal malt building a shallow and simplistic malt character, low-medium bitterness.

Tap at Elliot Oyster House in Seattle. Pours hazy amber with white bubbles. Floral/fruity aroma. Flavor is lightly fruity over mildly sweet caramel. Good taste. Mildly bitter finish. Floral enough to suggest ESB. Nice drink.

On tap at the Knitting Factory. Tastes nutty--weird for a pale. Tastes a little watered down towards the end. Deep copper/amberish color. Interesting take on the American pale ale.

Tap @ Safeco Field. Mariners vs Yankees, Brendan Morrow almost gets a no-hitter against the Yankees. What a great game. Light orange color. Bit malty and hop, some caramel. Ok stuff.
