Dan Levin är ordförande i den ekonomiska föreningen Svensk Landskapshonung som säljer honung över hela landet med ursprungslandskap och ansvarig biodlare på burkarna. Nu får han sitt eget namn, inte på en burk, utan på flaskor med mjöd gjord av honung från hans egen biodling. Honungen i det här torra mjödet är en typisk sörmländsk honung i trakten kring Björnlunda som tydligt domineras av vitklöver och hallon med små inslag av blåbärsblom.

Bottle sample at The Festival. Clearvyellow color. Aroma of berries, tart fruit. Taste is honey and light spice. Decent.

Bottle at mead tasting on November 2, 2012.Slight bit hazy inside of pear color, no head. Sweet, tart, vinous, alcohol scent. Vinous, buttery, white wine taste. Medium a bit spritzy mouthfeel, tart finish.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Silvery yellow colour with no head. Aroma is floral, honeylike with some slight herbal and spicy notes as well. Flavour is sweet honey, some slight berries, mild herbal and floral notes. Balanced.

Bottled at SBWF. Clear very pale golden, no head. Aroma of summer flowers. Dryish and light. Soothing honey and mild peppery heat, slight notes of berries.
