The first black beer from Sibeeria is really strong one, but smooth with chocolate notes.

At a tasting, thanks, small creamy bubbly head, opaque black color, aroma of dark bread and chocolate with hints of ash and smoke, flavor of chocolate with hints of metal and ash, suprisingly light hodied, light pleasant sourness. Nice but not too exciting.

Thanks Gurthnar and Ogi! 0.33l bottle. Extremely dark brown, almost black body with a tiny white head.Strong dark maltiness, light chicory, vague coffee, quite full, sweetish and grainy. Very very light alcohol. Taste... grainy, grainy maltiness, sweetish, light dark chocolate. Quite fresh, well hidden alcohol, light roastiness. The bitterness in the finish is a bit rough (seems to be a leitmotif of most beers today). Very drinkable, dangerously so. Nice!

Tap at Beer Geek Bar. Very good, complex and harmonious. High roastiness, medium sweet-stoutish sweetness, but the roasty bitterness balances it to create a full bodied, yet relatively easy drinking beer. Strength hidden well. Hops in the background, malt centered.
