355 ml can bought @ Kihoskh. Pours hazy golden with a small offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and slightly malty with rye bread, wholegrain crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, moist grass, pine needles, minerals, black pepepr corns and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly malty and fruity. Mouthfeel is round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with rye bread, wholegrain crackers, grapefruit, mango, moist grass, pine needles, black pepper corns and lemon zest. Nice tropical fruit hops with rye spiciness.

Keg at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, small head. Faint citrus aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dough, grass and citrus. Mid bitter finish. Unimpressive.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 3 July 2015) Hazy amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, grapefruit, resin, crisp-bread and fresh hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, crisp-bread and generous amounts of fresh citric/floral hops. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made pale ale with a fresh hop profile. Well balanced. Very nice.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18B, adapted). Can 35.5 cl - Batch unreadable. AROMA: nice grapefruit hop aroma with a subtle sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: pale gold and slightly hazy. moderate white head with average retention. TASTE: nice hop flavour with grapefruit and some pine notes. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium to medium-light body with a slight velvety texture from rye. moderate carbonation and no astringency. OVERALL: an american pale ale with more balance towards the hops than usual but enjoyable nonetheless.

Can@Ølbutikken, Copenhagen - medium hazy golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, medium pale malts, some light caramel, grapefruit, peachy, lemon, refreshing, hoppy bitter finish. Juicy and crushable. Lovely.
