Flat deep amber pour from bottle. Hops and malts to smell. Some citrus and resin but more malt forward.

Pours a nice amber from a bottle. Not much in the way of aroma. Flavor is kind of a mishmash of hops, something really seems like it's numbing my tongue like menthol or something, just doesn't taste like menthol. Meh.

I'm sure this beer is as good as other people have described but I'm just not getting it. This beer seems to have suffered something somehow somewhere along the way and the Hops are very ho-hum. Not really a bad beer but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange with large foamy off-white head, very faint otange peel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter orange peel taste, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Decent DIPA.

Clear golden body with a nice, relatively thick three to four centimetre tall tan head, but the body is super clean and light gold. Aroma of tropical fruits with some citrus, cleanser, light grain and slightly sweet smells coming through, but nothing incredibly pungent. Medium-bodied; Very crisp and dry malts hit at first with some herbal and grassy hops and associated bitterness, but the grapefruit and light citrus flavours do shine through towards the end, with a light sweetness, mainly from the fruits, but also a caster sugar note does come through, all with noticeable alcohol warmth, but nowhere close to 9 per cent, this one is more around the high 7s or 8 at most. Aftertaste is relatively clean and dry with malts strong and grapefruit peel, but not much sweetness to come by near the end and only a touch of alcohol, too - not too pungent OR cloying - nice! Overall, a solid, older school IPA, with plenty of bitterness from the hops, but a dry maltiness and soft sugars make this robust and complete with some fruits here too. Nice to sample locally and super fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 03-December-2020 for US$3,99 sampled the same day here at my house a few blocks away here in Washington.

Rattle h hum East. Svårt med doft och utseende klassisk ipa färg. Först svag pilsnertoner . Sen kommer torkade blåa bär. Maltig. Lite vinös.
