Bottle thanks to CaptainCougar. This one poured a slightly muddy orange color with a wispy, off-white head. The flavor is slightly sweet, with plenty of malts.

Bottle courtesy of CaptainCougar, thanks! Cloudy reddish amber gold color, small white head. Aroma of sweet cherry syrup. Taste is bittersweet fruit and caramel. Interesting.

A golden amber ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with solvent and grassy notes. In mouth, a sweet smooth vanilla malt with light curacao, alcohol warmth, not bad. Bottle at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear copper gold with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is caramel malt and honey. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and brown sugar with sweet finish. Easy to drink, a very good doppelbock from Capital.
