22 oz. bottle from willblake, split with a friend. Pour is reddish, deep brown with not much head. Aroma is roast and caramel sweetness. Taste has the roast (a bit faint) and the caramel malt sweetness. There is something almost chemical tasting in the sweetness. Not bad.

Dark reddish brown pour, with a small white lace - aroma of maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, kind of reminds me of cream soda - semi-bitter and quite roasty - the caramel and maple syrup from the aroma mixes in, with mixed results - fairly thin-bodied and flavored - some wood and vanilla in the finish - alright.

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, reddish brown with an off-white head. Unclean, lightly vinous aroma with some roasted malt. Medium body with sweet roasted malt - slightly oxidized. A vague, hoppy finish. Not completely fresh - unfortunately. 011206

A deep red beer with a thick fluffy brown head. The aroma is very complex with notes of wood, berries, and some spices on a sweet back ground. The flavor is sweet with notes of berries, and metal in the beginning, acompaniet by notes of herbs towards the end, which is dry. An OK doppelbock - but Iβve had better.
