On tap at the brewpub on 10/10/2009. Very clear dark amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet Belgian spice, Candi sugar and molasses. Belgian spice flavor, some fruit, banana, Candi sugar and faint molasses. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear copper tinted red color with a moderate creamy offwhite head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of bread, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon and other spices. The taste is also very spicy with lots of cinnamon, anise, brown sugar, molasses. Lots of fruitiness as well with raisins, cherries, plum. Thin-medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Not the brewery’s best Belgian style effort, but decent nonetheless.
