Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear copper tinted red color with a moderate creamy offwhite head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of bread, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon and other spices. The taste is also very spicy with lots of cinnamon, anise, brown sugar, molasses. Lots of fruitiness as well with raisins, cherries, plum. Thin-medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Not the brewery’s best Belgian style effort, but decent nonetheless.
