Sample at the "Drink Moar Beer!" tasting on 06/12/2015: The beer is a hazy mahogany color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ripe fruits, malt and yeast. Medium to full body with flavors of dark fruit, earthy yeast and caramel malt. The finish is sweet with a yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

750ml bottle I picked up at the brewery. Pours a watery, mahogany amber with one ring of eggshell head. Nose is interesting, red grape, some candy sugar, caramel, but... not much else. Flavor is candy sweet, prune, but... not a whole lot else. Clean finish. Not a whole lot going on.

Bottle shared at the Richmond Industry Gathering. Pours a clear copper color with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earthy, herbal hops, caramel and a spicy finish. The taste is banana, vanilla ,spice, toffee and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

5oz taster glass at the brewery. Poured a cloudy dark brown color (not quite cola colored, but close) with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet candy sugars and malts. Flavor is sweet, malted notes, with some dry honey character. Actually pretty refreshing for 9% ABV. Enjoyed this one.
