Bottle at Viking Grace. Hazy yellow color, tiny off-white head. Sour, grapey, fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. White-wineous, grapey and tart. A bit dry, papery too. To white-wine lovers.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Brazilian Tasting”. Murky orange with basically no head. Nose is unpleasant murky, brett, tart aspirin, rotting, musty, rotting barn, rotting fruit, lemon sour,… First reaction upon tasting was “ugh….” Murky rotting fruit sludge, eatable wild fruits, rotting berries, nasty, taste like something spoiled unintentionally, rotting toilet cleaner, rotting stone fruits, totally murky, flat & off-tasting. Pretty awful.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck and 77ships. Pâle trouble, col fin blanc. Arôme offre un profil puissant fleuri et parfumé rappelant l’hibiscus et le pot-pourri voire la violette. Fruité de baies - myrtille, et presque de pamplemousse avec une levure caractéristique de Wild Beer. Palais garde un profil avenant des pétales, effervescence moyenne-faible avec ce résiduel levure de sourdough typique, pointe citrique sur la fin et encore ce rappel de baies - orange sanguine qui semble aussi partir dans toues les directions. J’attendais plus de cette collab avec Bruno Carilli.

330ml bottle @ Siren Rainbow tasting, Jan 15, at Chez Sophie. Tongue-sucking sour qualities, fruity and tarty with very light palma violets. Lovely stuff.

Bottle: 26th Jan 2015. Split between three of us as we drank the 2014 Rainbow collection of seven beers. Slight haze to the amber/orange pour, small white head. Sour feel to the brew, acidic apples and other fruits, off-wine-ish flavours. Gooseberry sourness in the finish: not my sort of beer but I can see the why some like sour beers.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, 3 Nov 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with red berries, raspberries, bretty yeast and sour cherries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of red fruit, raspberries, cherries, caramel and a dry finish with a fresh acidity. Almost full body, quite dry. Interesting and quite yeasty, fruity with a fresh acidity. Nice one.

Smak och doft av röda bär, citrus, jäst, trä, örter, vinäger med toner av svarta vinbär. Vinös, lätt kropp, syrlig men en aning obalanserad. Frisk, fin beska.
