On tap at the World Beer Festival - Columbia on 01/22/2011. Clear dark brown body with a small tan head. Sweet roast and chocolate aroma. Sweet roast, chocolate and light burnt malt flavor. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Draft at the source. Clear ruby maroon color, medium tan head. Aroma of slightly charred chocolate. Taste is chocolate with a hint of coffee.

@Southern Hops-on tap-pours black with a light brown head that laces. Aroma is dark malt-roasty/some cocoa. Taste is dark malt-roasty/some cocoa, slight hops. Quick finish.

Draft at Brewvival: Dirty barley nose. Clear brown, thin yellow head. Flavor is of coffee and dirt. Dusty, especially afterwards. Very portery, with a little personality. Pretty nice.
