12oz bottle labeled Point Burly Brown. Filtered brown-amber color, respectable small head. The aroma is brown-sugary sweet. Medium bodied, some toasty, nutty malt notes. Pretty boring, the chocolate malt saves it. Some initial minimal bittering hops quickly fade and depart. Below par, but still drinkable.

Standard brown ale. Clear, reddish-brown pour with a short head. Aroma is slightly nutty and slightly sweet hinting of caramel. The flvaor is midly bitter with some sweet backbone. Grainy flavor in the finish. Dry. Simple and just OK.
