From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Tart and funky with a mild acidic sourness. Aroma is dark malt, grape-y, berries, tang, wood. Fairly dry finish with a hint of sweetness. Medium bodied. Curious and maybe a bit off, but I'm not unsympathetic to it.

750ml caged and corked bottle, the cork has 2015 stamped on it.
First pour looks like a clear mahogany, nice off white head of foam, good lacing.
The smell is..sour, with some hints of hops. Yeasty with some Belgian spices and other character.
The taste is superior. Yeah I get some vinous sourness but I get some hop bitterness, chocolate, fig, almost or at least mild phenols. And talk aboot a bone dry finish. Yikes. Now I'm getting some Brett and my second pour shows no more clarity.
On the lower side of medium bodied, very lively champagne like carbonation.
Enjoyable.

Bottle pour at Shelton Brothers. Pours a pitch black with a finger of foam. Dark coffee, cacao and saison yeast notes. A bit of plum and prune, with some herbal notes. Clean on the palate with a roasted hay character. Bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with large beige head that lasts. The aroma is earthy malt and spice. Medium mouth, roast, fruity malt, light finish, odd.

Shared 25.4 oz. bottle. 2014 vintage. Pours a dark murky mahogany with a large beige head that’s initially quite fizzy. Aroma of fermented grape, sour cherry, funk, mildew and vinegar. Taste is earthy, musty, oxidized red wine, rust, funk, dark malt, and dark fruits . Loads of acidity and sourness, combined with an ashy and burnt bitter element make for a rather unsavory concoction. Skip this one.

750 c&c from Wine & Cheese. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is a bit winey/woody. A dry astringent grape aroma. Med + body. Flavor is winey/grapey with something suggesting a soap, some wood, definitely some earth. There’s some dark maltiness, and some tartness. To me this is something out of a red wine barrel, tho apparently it has never seen wood. Finishing dry, earthy/woody, red berry fruity, and something herbal? The back of the bottle exclaims mysterious. Got that right. I’m really liking the contrasting, mixed flavors.

From the September 2013 3R6P tasting +++ Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a huge creamy tan head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty, chalky and faintly tart. The flavor was chalky, sweetish and musty with touches of white pepper, yeasty and black food coloring. Medium length dryish musty and chalky finish with lingering black food coloring. Blah.

A hazed dark brown saison with a thick collapsing mocha head. In aroma, very herbaceous and grassy malt with bitter chocolate, light Brett, dirt, interesting. In mouth, a nice fruity sour chocolate with light lactic points, Brett, foliage, off but in a nice way.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you sir! Hazy dark brown color, thick brown head, solid lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds. Taste starts with riasty coffee and cocoa, then a barnyard funkiness that doesn’t quite mesh. Near miss, I would say.
