Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you sir! Hazy dark brown color, thick brown head, solid lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds. Taste starts with riasty coffee and cocoa, then a barnyard funkiness that doesnβt quite mesh. Near miss, I would say.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of rye malt, some dark spices, mild farmhouse notes, and herbally bready notes. Flavour is fairly acetic, with a chemical quality, rye bready, some balsamic vinegar, metallic notes, and loads of weird musty notes - very bizarre. Black saisons are usually a big miss for me, and this is one of the poorer attempts I've had. Not good at all - haven't been impressed by this brewery at all.

Pours black with tan head. Slightly funky aroma with some roasted malts and nail polish remover that seems to be in most fresh bottles I try from this brewery the past couple of years. Simillar flavors. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Iβll get another bottle and revisit it in a year.

on tap-lt tan-hazy brown. A-floral/grassy, med malt. T-grassy hops, yeasty, 2nd med malt-roasty. Interesting. Med body. Lots of effervescence.

Sampled from the tap at the Cajun Cafe Fall Fest. Pours a deep brown that is slightly hazy and a brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of grass and floral with a dark grain backbone and Belgian yeast. Flavor starts with dark grains and a hint of chocolate but they mellow to let out a bit of grass and light flora. A bit odd but worked.
