Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is bitter hops mainly. Flavour is sweet hoppy and a bit malty. Easy to drink, but the aftertaste is quite short, and hoppy only. Quite watery to the palate.

Bottled (BB 07/2006). A bit hazy golden color, not much head. Woody, maybe a bit yeasty nose. Malty, slightly harsh, wheaty and woody flavor. Hoppy flavor in the aftertaste.

(Bottle at Haket in Gothenburg) Shady golden to orange color, big white head. Fresh, a bit too sweet, scent. Taste is hoppy and bitter, not the sweet cheap corn as in the smell. Normal mouth feel, medium high bitterness.

Rerate May13/06 First bottle I had was called English Ale, this is Organic. Definitely not the same beer but rating now reflects this beer, not the former.This is very thin, flat,bland and visually unappealing with no head or bead. Total crap.

Lightly hazy light amber with a tiny white head. Fruity malt/hop aromaFlavor with malt touches and a nice butterness from the hops

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, Mar 10) Colour is amber/copper with a small bubbly head. Nose is rather fruity and hoppy. Rather light bodied with a citrusy hop character and hints of marzipan(?). Dry, bitter finish. Very refreshing.

Bleh. The pale green glass scared me, and I watched this on the shelves for weeks before I worked up the nerve to buy one. No surprises here, skunky dunky! A slight aroma of that classic caramelly british malt underneath. Fortunately, the mercaptans were weak on the palate, but still provided an astringency of sorts. Hints of the earthy caramel malts, and even less of a spicy hop. Nice looking though, an orangey amber with a good tight head.

Light hops in the aroma. A light brown, lightly carbonated beer. Lots of pepper in the light flavor. Not much there.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful amber golden with a small head. Lovely caramelish aroma. Quite dry with notes of caramel and nuts. Not much malty sweetness is left here, but the finish is marked hoppy. 060101

Cask at County Hotel (JDW) Ashford. Iโve had this beer in a bottle (disappointing) at St Peterโs Jeresulem Tavern in London (okay) and now on hand pulled draught and I would say that the hand pulled is the best I have had it. I have read the other ratings and I feel that this beer loses something in the bottle. This is a golden ale, with hoppy tangerine notes on the nose. Slightly creamy in the mouth, with acidic creamy finish wiht more tangerine/orange flavours and dryness. I like it in this form
