Bottle poured into pint glass from Signal Variety, Plaistow NH. Aroma is earthy with dough and bread. Appearance is hazy golden orange with mild sparkle, no head to speak of and trace lacing. Taste is lightly sour beginning with nice floral sweetness balancing bitter in the middle. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with crisp texture and dry throughout. Lively carbonation. Overall, as advertised--highly drinkable and session-able. Doesn’t stand out but is competent.

Sampler pack: pours golden with white head. Aroma is light pine and hints of citrus. Easy drinking of course. A little but bitter with a sugary tint to it methinks. Some light hoppy aftertaste. Not bad. Feels heavier than it is.

Pours a cloudy golden with a thin white head from a bottle. Aroma is a piney hoppiness with citrus elements. Flavor is a nice IPA, with plenty of resiny flavor balanced by a slight sweet maltiness and a slight bitter finish. Although flavor is balanced, palate is a little unbalanced, with mouthfeel coming off as thin and flavors not quite melding together. A fine beer.

Skunky rosehip and tangerine nose. Hazy amber, medium head, good lace. Lemongrass and orange flavor, ashy grassy finish. Light body, alcohol not noticeable. Well hopped, but somewhat stale. Good beer but get it early.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, ok. In mouth,a crisp malt with light grassy hops, mineral notes, ok. On tap at brewery.

Hop session non filtered pale orange. Sticky head. Nose is ginger root, corn and some other peppery spice. Creamy mouthfeel. Not much flavor until the finish which is a simcoe nugget mild finish

Bottle from The Lazy Dog Crystal clear deep golden color and a fluffy frothy white head that slowly recedes before leaving stickies everywhere. Light bready malt with hints of soapy lemony hops make up most of the aroma. The flavor follows the aroma light malt, light earthy citrus hop and little else. Light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick almost watery mouthfeel. I don’t understand this beer. Sessionable I can see, its a lower alcohol easy to drink beer. But you used the word hop in the name and I have trouble finding any. I was hoping for something like All Day IPA or Go To IPA, but instead I got this mediocre beer.

Draught pint at the brewery, 2/7/14
Clear gold body topped by a small, moderately well-retained head.
I gotta say, these session IPAs are getting VERY hard to differentiate, the more I have. They almost always look the same, and they smell very similar with the better ones being "dry, hoppy, with an assertive bitterness, but not terribly acidic, low maltiness". Haha, I guess that’s the aim, anyways. This one was dry, more hop flavored than bitter (which I appreciate) though there was a touch too much malt sweetness and breadiness on the finish as it warmed. Session IPA, the most forgettable style? Quite possibly.

Friend brought this over. Aroma is pleasant hop notes - some bitterness, earthy notes. Flavor is pretty easy to drink, but in this case it’s probably a problem. Mild hop flavor, earth, some light fruit, but mostly watered down notes unfortunately. Not the best beer for the cold of winter.
