This silky ripper carries luscious notes of toffee, caramel, and waves of dark fruit character. Balancing these decadent notes are hints of cinnamon, baking spice, and a balancing flourish of licorice and alpine botanicals. The culmination of three barrels, its first two threads previously held Kentucky Bourbon and subsequently held an Amaro, while the third thread aged two years in a bourbon barrel and a third year with Amburana wood chips.

8oz pours in Charlton is an inky, leggy black with a ring of beige head. Nose has tons of malt and black licorice but tons of wood too. Caramel, cinnamon, some smoke. Port notes. Flavor has cocoa and malt, some prune and raisin, caramel, tons of wood. Exotic wood to go with bourbon. Full bodied, sticky, lightly sweet finish. Very strong. Well blended.
