Courtesy of Degarth. Pours mildly hazy gold with thin white head. The aroma is big bold sweetness, candi sugar, mildly roasty malts, some apricot like fruitiness and a growing hotness with a deeper draw. The taste is slick and sweet to start with nice lightly roasted malts. This is good and yummy. I love how the malts show up amongst the sweet Belgian candi sugar and mild blended smoothed out spice notes.

750ml bottle @Joe’s NYC Gathering courtesy of rciesla–pours a white ring and hazy gold color. Aroma is perfumy, barnyard/musty yeast, bread and medium malt-caramel. Taste is perfumy, barnyard/musty yeast, bread and medium malt-caramel. Crosses over to a farmhouse style. Some herbal hops, tart/vinegar. Interesting.

Thanks to kp for sharing this one at one of the Dark Lord Weekend room tastings. A fleeting white head forms over this clear golden bodied brew. The aroma is flowery, spicy, with typical funky Belgain aspects to it. Some alcohol is also noted. Sweet candy flavor. The alcohol is very well hidden in this one.
