Sampled at Troost, De Pijp. Hazy yellow orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, yeast, bitter. Decent body, firm carbonation. Hmm ok but the carbonation annoys me.

Tap at Troost de Pijp. Hazy golden with fizzy white head. Bitter herbs, light white pepper, sweet malts, light fish and grass. Medium bitter and light sweet. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Meh.

At Troost. Sample from tap. Hazy pale golden with thin white head. Sweet malts, lemon, elderflower, coriander, herbs, yeast. Light sweet with little tart note, light bitter. Draught @ Brouwerij Troost, Cornelis Troostplein 21, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1072 JJ. [ As Troost Saison ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt - wheat, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, spicy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity, saison yeast, pale malt, mineraels. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Clear amber gold, firm white head. Banana aroma, lots of banana. Malts and yeast. Malty flavour, caramel. Finish malts, yeast and banana.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, yeasty, banana, fruity esters, light spicy. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, banana, light spicy, decent bitterness towards the bitter finish. Light bodied. OK.

Tap @ Troost during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, small sample. Slight golden to amber color, short head. Aroma is slight spicy, bit flowery. Soft bitterness in taste, bit dry, hay. Again some sulphury note. Nonsense description however.

Draft at Troost. Pours cloudy Amber with a medium cream head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, citrus, light soap, light veggies and light fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.

[9/29/14] Draught at the brewpub in Amsterdam. Amber-colored. Spicy yeasty aroma, a bit soapy, with some acetone. Slightly sweetish flavor, spicy, yeasty, fruity, with some caramel and an alcoholic finish with a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation.
