Nutty, light chocolate, a bit of brown sugar, lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied. Solid brown ale and really dug the low abv.

Served on draft at the brewpub, 4/6/11. Pours a clear dark red color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty, chocolate malts with a leafy hop finish. The taste is caramel, nutty notes, chocolate and leafy hops. Medium bodied.

Bottle on 09/04/2008. Dark brown body with ruby highlights and a medium creamy tan head that persists. Nutty and caramel aroma with some chocolate hints. Sweet nutty flavor, more faint chocolate in the background. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a smooth finish.

Bottle thanks to badnloose. Pours a medium brown color with a small dissipating head. Aroma is that of a typical brown ale with a small note of dark chocolate. Flavor is about the same, creamy, with coffee and bitter chocolate.
