A light colored, smooth drinking American IPA brewed with Simcoe, Chinook, and Citra hops. Flavors and aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine are balanced by a hint of cereal sweetness from the use of twenty percent malted white wheat. Not overwhelmingly bitter, but great hop aromatics make this an IPA drinker’s IPA.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy wheat amber, little white head. Nose is floral, hay, esters, light hop. Taste is mainly sweet sugar, ester, candy, toffee, dull white sugar taste, toffee, little hops, faint pine,… Tad milky yeast, white bread body. Touch watery. Rather bland, white sugar sweet concoction.

12oz bottle pours with a nearly clear gold to copper hued body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up inviting sweet tangelo juice, mango and pineapple as well as a modest sweet malt bill in the background. The taste delivers hoppy goodness to my senses as I take in pleasing sweetened tangelo, grapefruit and mango all heading smoothly into the malty base just as the hops turn a tad resiny with bitterness. A few more sips brings about a facet of modest spicy dank onion hoppiness. This is pretty solid. My bottle might have a bit of age on it but shame on me. Good IPA with plenty of juiciness and bitterness and body to keep me happy.

West Coast IPA with thick, irregular, off-white, moussy head and lightly hazy, light orange blonde colour with a veil of ’dust’ (yeast) equally divided over the liquid as the deposit is added. Based on the name, I expected this to be a wheat IPA or something, but apparently only barley is used. Lovely citrus aroma, perfumed with suggestions of mandarin liqueur, grapefruit peel, lime zest, honeydew, fresh pineapple, papaja, caramel candy, white pepper, pine wood, biscuit, peaches (esters, almost as in a Belgian tripel, especially when the deposit is added) and gin; nothing off-putting here. Vividly fruity onset, pineapple, orange, watermelon, some banana, medium carbonation, minerals, salty accent but fortunately not too strong, light and supple mouthfeel, slightly nutty and caramelly malt sweetness cleverly balanced with a resinous, spicy, citrussy hop bitterness dominating the finish and drying the back of the mouth and throat, with some of the malts timidly creeping through. This may not be the most revolutionary IPA around, pretty straightforward, but very well balanced and tasty, exemplary for its style.

Looks like any other IPA, smells like rough IPA, a little of that BO lingering in there, and it’s not in a good way. Some things floating around in thar. Taste is fer sure IPA bordering on astringent and sharp. Difficult. Even after years of trying to like IPA, I just don’t get them. Strong difficult and nasty nellie, almost IIPA in effect but not quite as thick. Does have some good co2. Long bitter thrashing dull thud ipa finish that lasts for a good length of time. Not impressed.

Bottle from Special Brews in Lynwood, WA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is fruit and grass. Med body. It starts bitter, gets a sweet burst, then goes eaarthy bitter. I’m thinking of Cluster. Plus a lot of other hop. Hoppy, bitter and tasty. Works for me.

Bottle pour. Pours a golden color with a lasting fizzy head to it. Mostly hops aroma. Flavor almost has a lemon like flavor to it. A lot of citrus hop to this really easy drinking IPA. Good beer here.
