12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine in Denton, TX. Pours a clear orange-gold color with a small khaki head and poor retention. Spotty lacing. Amber ale aroma. A good blend of American and German Oktoberfest flavors. Not as sweet / malty as I prefer. Very flat mouthfeel. Decent, but forgettable.

12oz can thanks to Rick pours out clear crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet malts grassy hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts grain light spice and grassy notes.

Very lagerish, not entirely unpleasant, but not memorable either. More cereal grain, than sweet malt. Slight malt finish.

Pour is a cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma is a decent bready malt. Flavor is more of that marzen malt with a little lager blandness. Finish is a bit watery but the malt kinda sticks with you after the swallow. An ok attempt at a Oktoberfest.

12 oz can purchased at Jack’s Discount Liquor located in Lenexa, Kansas. No date on the can, though presumably this is from last fall. The pour is a mostly clear golden copper with a 1 ½ inch light tan head. Nice retention. The aroma is toasted cracker malt, grass spiciness and a bit of floral sweetness. The taste is the cracker malt along with sweetness, which is more caramel than floral in the taste. Hint of cardboard oxidation. The grass character comes out in the longish finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and the grass aftertaste. Decent, even with the age.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bread and grains with some biscuit for sweetness. Flavor starts with earthy grain and a touch of grass with biscuit in the finish.
