Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a black color with an off white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some grapefruit pith, roasted dark malts, subtle coffee beans, dark chocolate, driftwood, earthy hops, and a light dose of piney/resin bitter hops.
The flavor mildly blended the prior noted aromas fairly nice. Long yet sharp and roasty aftertaste. Sly roasty finish.
The palate was medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty nice black IPA that I could come back to if I could get it. Thanks Jason!

Can. Hazy brown body with ruby highlights. Medium beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of liquorice, blueberries and dark chocolate. Flavour of plum, coffee and Black Jack sweets. Thin to medium body with a slick, oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. A lovely Black IPA - rich and fruity.
