Draft at the source. Clear golden color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of wet grass and subtle scallions. Taste is bitter grass and a hint of fruit and licorice. Very nice start to a weekend beer trip!

Bottle thanks Josh! Pours a caramel amber with an off-white head that lasts throughout the bee and laces nicely. Aroma has some light pine hop with a bit of resin and caramel and sweet grains underlying. Flavor begins sweet with caramel and cereal that is joined by a resinous pine hop.

Draft. Amber body with an off-white, frothy head, mostly diminishing. Hop-filled aroma of pine, citrus, sweet orange, grapefruit, pineapple. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter, a bitterness that lingers. Medium to full body, slightly sticky texture, lively carbonation. Taste of grapefruit and orange juice. But there’s also an undercurrent of raw hops and grain, something I’ve noticed in several New Albanian beers. Leaves the impression of being not quite cleaned up. That aside, this is a tasty double IPA.

tap at Indiana winterfest - The aroma is full of citrus hops and earthy accents. The flavor is well hopped too, but also seems almost sugary. It’s sweet for a DIPA. That works alright though and the complex hop characteristics come through well.

On draught at Brugge Brasserie. This brew is a clear dark amber color with a thin and rocky off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and citrus along with a touch of honey. Rich body with a strong hops character that has floral and citrus notes. Balancing sweet malt and honey in the background. The finish is moderately bitter hops with an herbal and malt finish. Solid all around.

Beer #15 at GTMW, from the Real Ale tent. Very clear, almost pilsener-like color. As a cask beer it has few bubbles and a very thin head. Nice hoppy smell, of course. Great IPA taste with a thin cask mouthfeel; lets the beer slide right on down, so I give the "Palate" the max I can rate. A fine example of a Real Ale style IPA.

Sampled at the Savor DC event. Cloudy, copper orange body with a cloudy white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and some pine. Flavor is all bitter citrus, pine, spice and some lurking malty sweetness. Sticky on the tongue but still very drinkable.
