Keg at the Plough, Worcester, 03/09/22. Light golden blonde, carbonation evident, topped with a lasting white crown as it goes for a cider. Nose is sweet apple, straw, sugars, caramel. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, light orchard wood, straw. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Ok refresher.

Keg at Full Monty. Tart nose, creamy apples. Sweet, slightly sugary, a touch of vanilla. Soft and easy. Not so interesting but not bad.

Keg at Pilot Boat Inn, Bembridge. Aroma has sweet juice before developing a smoky peel streak. Clear copper gold. Thin 1mm white band of a head. Light-medium sweet with a sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Flat. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. OK.

Draught at Cider Tap, Euston, London. Golden amber colour, no head and aroma of fruity apple, some funk. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, fruity, with some orchardy funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

On tap at The Stable, pours a clear pale blonde. Aroma brings out gentle farmhouse notes and crisp apple skins. Flavour is medium sweet, with farmhouse notes and earthy notes. Farmhouse-y, with a dry, musty finish. Good stuff.

Clear golden colour, no head as expected from a cider; typical apple cider aroma and taste with some salty-cheesy notes (which makes it somehow special)... well I would have not tasted it (instead of the great beers available on tap in the pub where I tasted it) if I had not wanted to tick Warwickshire...

Lys gul klar med minimalt hvit skum som blir helt borte. Lukter epler, plast, trevirke og noe honning. Middels fylde. Lett sødme, epler, tørr.

From tap at På kornet, Stavanger, 16.01.17. Aroma of old English cider apples, apple zest and leather. Similar taste. Excellent complexity and quaffability!
