A medium-bodied, golden IPA that gets in your face from first sweet sip to crisp, dry finish with the exotic tropical fruit flavors and aromas of New Zealand Motueka hops. With just enough malt character to keep the aggressive hop presence in check, and an unruly 7.5% abv, this brew was seemingly born to kick ass. And RAZE HELL!

bottled. Poured more of an orange amber than gold. Strong hop flavors, pretty nice little blend of citrus and some malts peeking through.

Cask, with Citra added @ Albion. Hazy dark orange/copper with foamy beige head, very faint citrus aroma,, low carbonation, bitter caramel/orange peel taste with floral hops, smooth body, long bitter finish. Difficult to get the Citra impression in the cask version.

12oz bottle. Poured a translucent orange color with a medium-large white head. Lots of lacing on this one. Aroma was pine, light resin, some earthy hops, light crisp malts. Flavor was tasty, but lacks a little something, a bit too earthy, but would not turn this one down again.

Pours orange with good head and lacing. Some initial citrus hop aroma. Medium bitter finish. OK bit nothing remarkable. Tap at BWI brewpub.

So I put off rating d becasue of the sweet bayby ho-zay confict, but got over that. Slightly weeird oroma of oiled saddles. Cloudy yellah. cramy head. taste evolves. starts rather friendly and then goes to ignor you then rizes to get in yer face. Finish is same as the minutes continue.

Just found the notes on this.
I’ve had this twice and it was in a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice slightly hazy orange but it still showed a decent looking transparency. The head was about a nice white color that dissipated within less than thirty seconds and it left a decent looking soapy looking lacing.
The smell had a decent allocation of piney to citrus to earthy hops.
The taste was mostly bitter but it did allow a decent sweetness to come out as the beer warmed.
On the palate, this one sat at/about a medium in body with a fairly decent sessionability running about the mouth and tongue. The carbonation was good for the style as it had a good harshness pummeling my tongue.
Overall, good AIPA well worthy of having again.

Tap at duclaw BWI. Cloudy orange, offwhite cream. Citru and peach notes, medium full sparkly sweet body, grassy herbal finish. Good balance.

Bottle from a trade with pineypower. Pours Clear dark golden color with off white head. Aromas of caramel, pine and a hint of citrus. Sweet caramel flavor with moderate bitterness and some pine. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Dean.
