Good porter. Standard appearance, soft, smooth palate with appropriate bitterness and roasted malt flavors giving some coffee and chocolate notes. On the sweet side

Pours a dark, coffee-black with mid-sized head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is chocolate, burnt toast, roasted grain. Flavor largely follows. Smooth mouthfeel.

Sample at Bob’s Bar during the 18th Annual Extravaganza!!! on 02/29/2020. Black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lace. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, espresso and a bit of anise. The finish is burnt malt and coffee. Pretty good all around.
