Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head that lasts well. Aroma of tropical fruit, soap, caramel, vague citrus. The citrus flavours are brighter in the mouth. Sweet with mango, biscuit, caramel. No particular finish, although some pepper emerges. Modest bitterness. A bit of a muddle.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Total Wine-McLean, 1/30/13
Aroma: The nose has some sweet grapefruit, orange, some herbal notes, and a bit of tea
Appearance: Pours a hazed dark orange color with a thick frothy of white head and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is a little sweet, it has bready and herbal flavors, and a medium dry bitterness
Palate: The body medium, it has a fairly creamy feel, a bit of stickiness, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid IPA, it is not the best in the style, but it is more than adequate. I would certainly drink this one again. There's some pretty good stuff going on here, and plus, it is (partially) for a good cause!

Nice really rich crisp and slightly hazy peach and copper coloured body with a nice orange glow at the bottom and a two centimetre tall tan head - very nice look. Aroma of pineapple, pine, toffee, malt and a bit of herbal hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and very dry herbal hops with a hint of pine and a peppery, slightly woodsy finish with a decent malt backbone and a lightish, non-cloying palate. Aftertaste borders more on the hops than anything else, but a fairly good balance and a nice dry, herbal and very grassy flavour shows a different style IPA than most. Overall, a nice beer - not as good as some of their other beers, but a well crafted beer and worth trying if you can find it and like a lighter IPA with more herbal and grassy flavours. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 02-September-2012 for US$3.99 sampled at home in Washington on 06-November-2012, when President Obama was re-elected.

This one pours clear medium gold in color with a sticky, tall mostly white head. The aroma is light citrus and pine hops. The flavor is well balanced; slightly to the bitter side. Some dryness in the finish. Good average IPA.

A hazed amber IPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, biscuit malt over fragrant resinous hops, grassy and smooth, caramel. In mouth, nice grassy malt with floral British hops, nice and smooth, not over the top. On tap at Summer Winter Marriott Burlington MA, for 6.50$, August 3 2012.

22oz bomber pours deep gold body with a faint haze and it supports a fluffy tan head. The mild aroma offers up sweet malts and thin snippets of lemony to grapefruit like citrus notes. The taste begins with a pretty good dash of lemon mixed with grapefruit and getting firmly bitter toward midway. As this heads to the finish some sweet malts and earthy green tea join in the fun. Iβm really liking this style IPA. It is a little earthy tea like (Jasmine tea maybe) and it is working great.

Overripe orange, leafy greens aroma. Cloudy amber, medium head. Oooohhh, unexpected slap of rosehips in the face right off the bat, intense. Nice juicy tangerine base. Finish is a bit non descript, but the mouthfeel is soft and nice. Wow, this is my kind of IPA. On par with Bellβs Who Farted, a personal favorite.
