From notes. Draft. Spice, malt and light hops. Meh, it’s ok. This would be better off as a year-round or seasonal rather than of of their "special" beers.

On draft at Rattle N Hum NYC. Pours a hazy copper with a white head. Dried fruit aroma. Somewhat smoky flavor.

tap at Dash In - Pours amber orange with a small off-white head. It has a surprisingly mild aroma. I’m just getting a little citrus. The flavor features moderately bitter hops, citrus, and yeast spice. It’s medium bodied and has a bitter finish. Fairly good but as I love imperial IPAs I expected more.

Served on draft at Madison’s in Madison, WI at the GTMW pre-party under the Minx moniker. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thin tan head. Aroma of toffee, apples, earthy notes and citrus. The taste is toffee, apple, citrus and earthy hops. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer.

Draft at Dexters. Brown-orange, filtered? Thin, soapy head. Dry, sugary, hoppy aroma. Thick caramel malt body. Syrupy orange hop tones. Solid bitterness, bet well balanced. Somme brown sugar tones. Quite enjoyable.

"Minx," Draft 8 oz. snifter, $7 @ Brixie’s. If this is coming out in a bottle, it’d be $17, so I’m a bit ahead here. Chunky foam stays in the glass for a while, covering a golden brown dubbel colored beer. Smell has Belgian aromatic malts, not a lot of hops or sweetness, but alcohol is definitely there. No bubbles wandering around in the glass, but there is still some effervescent tingle when I sip it. My impression is focused on the Belgian side more than the IPA side. More sweetness on the tongue, with notes of orange peel and suggestions of gingerbread. Surprisingly little hops come to mind. Very tempting to drink it all at once, except for the warming alcohol to keep me in moderation. Some woody notes at the end.

On tap at the Publican. Poured a near clear gold with a slight amber hue with a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma was full of pine hops with a bit of light grain and yeast backbone. Flavor had a nice pine note with slight floral and grain backbone. Well rounded.
