Pours hazy deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast, citrus, clove and hint of banana. Taste is meidum sweet and light to medium bitter with a long wheat, yeasty, bitter and slightly banana finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the taproom. A hazy, golden beer with a small, white head. Citrusy hops, cloves and a hint of banana and wheat in the aroma. Refreshing and quite dry on the palate, medium to full bodied and with a nice carbonation level. Bitterness, citrus fruit, cloves and some wheat in the flavor. Unusual to have a beer like this with Cascade hops, not like the German weissbiers, but it’s nice. 150507

Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange color with a large rocky head. Good head retention. Aroma of wheat with herbal and spicy hops. The taste is the same. Fairly dry. Medium bodied with a lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

12 oz form a six pack. Paid 10.99 at Table and Vine. Fresh bottle, best by September. Clear gold with a good amount of retention. High, active carbonation. Lemon zest and yeast. nose. Light body. Flavors of orange, lemon and a bit of rind. Lively mouthfeel. Real thin borderline watery. Nice spice note in the finish. Not traditional, very American. Ok summer, don’t have to run out and get more. However, much better then the weak Pyramid hefeweizen I just had.
