Dark golden color with a minimal white head. Aroma has notes of resins, some citrus with a good maltiness. Flavor with a strong bitterness, caramelish, hints of bread and grapefruit. Decent bitterness in the final with a good duration.

Bottle 330ml (AbM)
Clear amber color, some floating yeast. Sweet glueish and hop oily aroma. Some similarities to To Øl Dangerously Close But No Cigar in the nose. Full-bodied, liquerish. Sweet, sweetness covers the alcohol well. Pear, pine, resin, toffee, some tropical fruits. Not my favourite Siren. Lots of, lots of yeast in the bottle, maybe it has something to do with the dissapointment.

On tap at What’s Brewing. An unclear, orange colored beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white colored head. Pine cones, resins, some alcohol and a malty touch in the aroma. It’s bitter and sweet on the palate, sort of balanced in a way, with alcohol, pine cones, resins and even more pine cones in the flavor. It’s lightly warming and pleasantly carbonated. Very nice this one, but actually a bit sweet I think. Probably the alcohol kicking in a bit too much. 141101

Bottle @ home. Murky amber colour, lots of particles in the beer. White creamy foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet aroma of passion fruit, and pineapple. Also some honey. A bit too sweet, bitter finish. Alcohol is very well hidden. Ok.

Very tasty stuff. Pulls off the huge alcohol percentage with grace. Citrus, caramel and lots of orange witha little peel zest. Bittersweet finish with some booze and sweet malt. Tap at Churchkey.

Pours hazy, orange, has some yeast sediment flying around. Aroma is nicely fresh and sweetish. Some resins. Taste has some full hop sweet resins, overripened citrus fruits. Fully enjoyable, warming winter beer. Hops not too present but still there doing something in the background. Sweetness is balancing the alcohol. Really enjoyable!

Very cloudy light amber color. Apricots, grapefruits, stone fruit, mangoes in the nose, which are lovely. The mouth is very sweet with hop very negligible. A bit too alcoholic, thin body, not balanced. Fairly yeasty. Interesting, but I don’t think my cup of tea
