A refreshing, golden amber brew, with Cascade hops from the Yakima Valley. Adding Cascades during conditioning captures the rich aroma of the hop, and completes the clean, well-balanced flavor of our American pale ale. Crisp, refreshing and exotically aromatic.

This Pale ale poured a cloudy medium yellow colour with a big, rocky, bright white head. To the nose there are scents of orange, lemon citrus, pineapple, spruce/juniper hopps, metal and a light coconut. First swig was vey smooth, almost to the point of watery but not quite. Flavours of citrus/spruce hopps the most prodominant flavours. Finish is slightly bitter.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Pours with a clear golden body and no real head. Aroma of grain and light hops. Taste is pretty much the same... light hops and grain. Light carbonation. A very forgettable pale ale.

bottle - Drank side by side with Michigan Brewing Co. Mackinac Pale Ale. This beer pours clear copper with a very thin head. It has a sharper hop aroma than the Mackinac. The flavor is moderately hopped with some good citrus notes. The malt is in there but rather light. It strikes me as a little thin and unbalanced. Overall it’s decent but on this head--to-head I’ve got to give the nod to the Mackinac.

Bottle. Nice aroma of hop over malt. Light amber color with a decent white head that stayed a while. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor starts lightly roasted caramel with a good amount of bitter hop. Could be pine and citrus mix. Pretty much what one might expect of an APA. Finishes nicely bitter.

Smells like a pack of Newports, with a touch of rose hips, and grapefruit, not strong. Very clear copper with a thick creamy head and good lacing. Very bitter and tastes like cologne. Bready finish. Probably pairs well with cottage cheese and pineapple.

Sampled at Hills Market beer tasting. Pours a golden orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing. Light citrusy hops aroma. Medium, crisp body with a moderately hoppy character that contains citrus and mild malt flavors. The finish is hoppy and short. Slightly above average overall.

Some APA come across like IPA and this is not an exception. Musty hop aroma that clears to an oily sweet mate’s hair. 2 shades darker than pale yellow. Grapefruit rind taste impact. Quite like an IPA in behavior. Bitter lingering medicine finish. Good carbonation for such a hopped beer. More personality than I care for in a beer.
