This is our take of the renowned Bohemian-style pale lager that you might find in Bavaria or the Czech Republic. Ours is a little more golden, rounder, and a little more malt driven than many other versions. The beer possesses strong hop character that is balanced by its rich, round, malty palate. Refreshing and balanced, this beer is a favorite of our winery friends during harvest.

Pours a light golden shade. Slightly hazy liquid. Big white head with excellent retention and lots of bubbles sticking to the walls of the glass. The aroma has a delicate, fresh malty flavor, spicy, floral hops and a touch of sulfur. It’s all quite pleasant. Some citrus and resin in the mix. Similar taste. Gentle and tasty. Light malt character. Very fresh. Clean lager yeast flavor. Light bitterness. Nice hop flavor. Good mix of spice, grass and citrus. Excellent mouthfeel, light and creamy. Very easy to drink. This is a tasty pils. One of the best that I’ve tried.

Bottle. Golden-straw beer with an off-white head. Grain and straw aroma with spice and earth. Malt and spice flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Malt and spice lingers with light earth and citrus.

Bottle. Lovely nose of juicy pilsner malts and lemony, grassy hops. Right on. light biscuits, just a bit of diacetyl, definitely within the limits. Pretty orange-golden, lightly cloudy, low head. Delicious pilsner flavor, rich biscuity malts, nice lemony hops, very better and bitter in the finish. Best American lager I have ever tried.

Poured from a bottle purchased today. Aroma has a nice, light sweet graininess with some faint floral and fruity esters. Moderate spicy, floral hop character. No diacetyl or sulfur. Pours a faintly cloudy, golden orange with a moderately sized, pillowy white head that shows really good retention. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a really nice fresh malt character. Nice graininess, along with some bready malt character and hints of nuttiness and toast. Medium bitterness with moderately strong hop flavor. Hops are spicy and earthy with a bit of a woodsy character. Very clean. Good mineral character. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation; somewhat creamy and soft carbonation. Faint astringency and low alcohol warmth.Overall a really nice and flavorful pilsner. Very clean beer without any diacetyl or sulfur. Nice hop character and very fresh malt notes.

Bomber. Pours slightly hazy golden with a large fluffy white head with excellent retention; leaves some constellation-like patterns of lace. Aroma is doughy, chalky, cotton candy. Taste is crisp and dry, slightly sweet, finishing on a bitter hop note. Creamy mouthfeel, somewhat thin-bodied. Really good and very much to style, but maybe not as good as its reputation suggests.

Bomber. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big grainy and lemon nose. A large flavor profile with oranges, lemon zest, sulfur, some earthy biscuit malts, honey. This is a big smooth and flavorful beer. Finishes dry and mineral filled.

Bottle. Light golden body. Frothy off-white head, diminishing Aroma of grass, minerals, hay, toasted grain, nectar. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Sweet nectar and lemon zest get washed over with hop bitterness. Light taste of bread, crackers. Clean malts. Great balance. First rate.

Bottle. Pours with a lightly hazed golden hue with a retentive white head. Aromas are lightly musty, bready, grainy, lightly grassy. Flavors are grassy, a bit nutty, bready malt, a bit of herbal hop. Very clean. Lively bubbles, clean, crisp and dry. Medium salinity. Well made.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is grassy, with grains, hay, and some dry hoppy notes. Flavour is very mellow and refreshing, with grass, grainy malt and some light hop notes. Subtle, restrained and perfectly well-balanced. Great thirst-quenching pilsner.
