This rich amber lager quickly became our flagship brew. Ruby has a deep color and nutty flavor imparted by toasted malts atop a bed of choice, 2-row barley. German hops give this beer a mild but spicy bitterness. Ruby is a go-to beer with a mellow body and loads of flavor.

22 ounce bottle from Bestway in Greensboro, NC. Pours a hazy bronze color with a medium tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty caramel malts with a hoppy finish. Taste is caramel, nuts, toasted malts, and light nondescript fruity notes. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

Nice and deep, true to the name, with some dark auburn highlights and a good sized off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, crisp lager yeast, honey and light notes of chocolate. Flavor is rich and sweet, with light toasted malt sweetness, some hints of caramel and a clean, crisp lager finish, which didnt water down. The texture is smooth, bordering on creamy. Medium body, moderate carbonation. One of the better beers I tried while down in Knoxville and it’s impressive to see this style (sort of a Vienna/American Dark hybrid) being produced fairly well down here.
