Medium bodied deep golden ale with distinctive bitter character and hoppy, piney-citrus finish...a true American style.

12oz bottle pours a clear orange with loads of frothy white head. Nose smells infected. Carbonation sure says so too. Aroma of dusty couch, dried orange peel, a little cheap wine, some cardboard. Flavor is bitter, astringent, tea, malt, cardboard, dried orange peel. Astringent finish. Something’s wrong.

The faux pretense of the faux beer scene. I don’t know. There’s malt and not much else here. Comes together randomly. Malt is kind of sour without the good profile of an EPA. On tap at DC Summerfest.

My friends Tom and Jen brought this one up from North Carolina. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dry, floral and had a gritty herbal hop presence. The flavor was dryish with moderate floral and herbal hops and a light nutty undertone. The finish was medium length floral and herbal hops. Medium body. Ok.

Light lemon zest nose. Clear amber, thick sticky yellow head with good retention. Very tinny lemongrass flavor. Extremely metallic. Enjoyable, but has issues.
