Starr Saison is a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale. It is crisp and complex with plenty of fruitiness, hints of earth, and refreshing hop aroma and bitterness.

Fresh growler from the brewery. Pours a clear apple cider color with a moderate white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is bread, spice, peppery hops, peach, pear and green banana. Taste is bread, caramel, earth and nutty notes. Some grass and green banana as well. Fairly dry. Smooth with very slight alcohol warmth. This has some merit but is not well balanced.
