The most acceptable bottle I’ve found in the Leiney mix-pack, and even it only seems a hair better than Blue Moon or ol’ Shockey Top. There’s a soapy herbal presence that indeed shows signs of actual care in brewing, but the watery texture and cheap looks show this brew’s true colors. But at least I’m done with that damn mix pack. Consumed at the Manager’s Reception bar at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Man, this is horrible. This is hands down the 2nd worst beer I’ve ever had, taste like dish soap. I couldn’t get past the 3rd sip and had to return it. Only worse beer is the fire brewed Sprechers.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours a light bright hazy orange with medium size white head. Aroma is orange, some lacing, and high carbonation. Taste is strong tangy orange, some wheat, and a little coriander.

The aroma was very fruity. Very pleasing by the aroma. The flavor of this beer is predominantly fruity. As others have mentioned it has a fruity pebbles flavor. I didn’t necessarily think of fruity pebbles but I did think of orange, lemon and raspberry. My opinion is that this is a amazing beer, hands down!

17th September 2008. Another weak ’lager like’ wheat from this brewery. This at least goes down a little easier. Flavoured with a little orange. Not great but didn’t have to force it down.

Out of a can on an airplane. Pours a distinct orange color - was the brewer trying to recreate the autumn sunset over the midwest wheat fields? Nice witbeer haze. The head lingers for a while, almost appearing to pick up some notes of the orange color, but leaving a smotth white dusting over the beer. Massive orange on the nose - i know this is a witbeer but the nose makes me wonder if this is more of a fruit beer. while somewhat pleasing initially, this is too much orange aroma. Taste bites hard on the front with the orange, hiding the malts. Mouthfeel is a little thin and taste continues to follow through with orange that quickly dissipates. I think the orange overpowers what could have been a fair beer.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is very fruity--pineapple especially. Hazy gold color, little head, moderate lacing. Taste is almost as fruity as the aroma--pineapple, lemon, wheaty taste. Medium-bodied. Pretty decent wheat beer.

Overall Impression: I'm not going to apologize for liking this one. Its a nice, tasty, enjoyable summer wheat. Nice body to it, but still easy drinking. A really nice example of a style that I don't usually find myself loving. Great for a hot summer days by the pool or the grill. I know its chic to dismiss this one, but I don't agree, in fact, I've got it just below Gumballhead on my list of best wheat ales I've tried.

Bottle. Poured hazy orange with thick lasting white head. Faint citrus aroma with a whiff of coriander. A little more coriander in the rather bland and flat flavour. Almost no finish, a bit of hop and that’s it.
