Bottle: Pours a mountain of thick, creamy beige head atop a pale copper body. Spotty lacing. Aroma is bright, piney and fruity. Lively hops flavor; lightly herbal and floral. Some resin. Low level of bitterness. Good intense flavors, but not harsh. Refreshing.

Nice copper and amber coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, earthy malt, a light sweetness and a bit of fruit. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavours of herbs, flowers and a touch of grass with a good malt backbone, some light caramel flavours and a smooth sweet finish. Aftertaste shows mainly hop bitterness from the herbal hops, but not overwhelming, plus matched well with malt and sweetness. Overall, a very nice IPA - better than I was expecting, and worth trying if you stumble upon it. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$1.79 sampled in Woodhaven, Michigan on 03-August-2013.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear orangish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grassy hops with a decent amount of pine and grapefruit backed by some earthy grains. Flavor has grassy hops throughout with earthy grains and growing grapefruit and pine in the finish.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 3/18/2013. Slight gusher upon opening. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, mango, pineapple, tangerine, floral, grass, caramel, bread, and slight pine. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of hop notes; with a nice amount of malt balance. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, bread, caramel, and light piney spiciness. Moderate amount of citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pineapple, floral, pine, grass, bread, caramel, and piney spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of hop notes; with a solid malt backbone; with zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. Great balance and complexity of hop notes; and very easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Floral citrus hops, light caramel malt aroma. Hazy honey gold with a large off-white head. Grapefruit peel, pine hops, and biscuity malt flavor. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. I really enjoyed the lighter body which made this a very easy drinking beer.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 12/19/12

Aroma: The nose is full of tropical fruity hops, with some pine tree, a little spice, and some sap
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange color with a small white head and some spotty lace-work
Flavor: It is a little sweet, with a good amount of citra hop bitterness, and more spice then the nose
Palate: It has a medium body, average carbonation, a pretty good mouthfeel, and a dry, clean finish
Overall Impression: This was a pretty darn good one. It's basically a well-made, well-hopped IPA with a little bit of a spice twist to it. This is a quality entry into the world of IPAs. I'd drink it again for sure.

Bottle. Pour is a slightly hazy orange with a small diminishing white head with nice lacing. Aroma is clearly of citrus hops. Flavor is crisp, mineral water, fresh hops, and grapefruit citrus fruit. Theres some malt in there to try to balance things out some, but it doesnt mask the crisp hop profile. Light bodied and quite effervescent. Nice, dry & bitter finish. I REALLY enjoyed these.
