Amber with a frothy, white head that lingers. Aroma of resin, caramel, nectarines, orange peel. Nice. Taste is less interesting—bitter with a grainy, mineralized, slightly metallic twist. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Okay.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a huge, off-white head with good retention. Very subtle aroma hops in the nose. Medium body, somewhat herbal hoppiness and a slight tartness. 70 IBU, seriously? 070721

Can at share. Musty grainy aroma and taste. Dry, chalky. Bready malts, hops late come in for some lingering bitterness.

On tap at Fargo Brewing, pours a clear copper with a small off-whirenhead. Aroma brings out citrus hops and plenty of butter. Flavour is similar, hinting at improper temperature control, with bitter piney hops, light butter, and crisp biscuity malt. Needs work.

12oz can pours out a amber copper topped with a sand head. Nose is grapefruit hops grass and crackers. Taste is more of the nice light hop grapefruit notes along with a light malt bill.

Can. Pours a cloudy gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is nice pine and citrus. Medium body, grapefruit, pine, light bitterness, decent.

Can. The beer is fairly light amber in color. Moderate haze. Medium-sized white head. Good amount of lacing, fine retention. The aroma has some decent tangerine and mango upfront but there’s a deeper, less pleasant hop flavor below that. Big pine resin and a bit too much onion. Mild pepper, a little grass, some floral flavor, mild raspberry. Not bad. Taste is a step back, unfortunately. Big and bland pine resin bitterness. Plenty more onion, as well. Long grapefruit rind and pine finish. The sweeter hop flavors are quite mild here. Fairly dry. Only medium bitterness but lacking in complexity and good hop flavors. Mouthfeel has only mild creaminess, which is a surprise. Fairly light body.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, purchased at the brewery on 11/13/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderate sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wood Chipper on 13 Nov 2015 at 20:35 - Score: 7. Original review text: Very nice. Grapefruit/tangerine/pineapple/orangepeel/rind/pine/caramel/toasted bread. Sticky/resin/bitter/dry. Fairly creamy feel. Smooth

Hazy, thick head. Strong woody, grapefruity hop nose. Moderate bitterness, sweet but slightly doughy malts. Finishes with an alcoholic flourish. Bit yeasty, too.
