Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria tap ($6): Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly hops, with some fruitiness. This ale doesn’t go very hard for a Belgian yeast character. It is mostly a lightly hopped ale that can’t really fit into other styles. Fruitiness is abundant, but nor particularly memorable. In any case, this was still good and my criticisms shouldn’t take away from the fact that this was a very drinkable and enjoyable brew.
