Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Soapy malty aroma. Starts intense malty, wheaty, light alcoholic. Some soapy dry notes. Mild fruity hints of lemon. Finish well balanced, still a bit alcoholic-metallical. Okay.

gift from our Belgian neighbours - many thanks! opalescent golden colour, huge, dense ecru-ish head which lasts for several minutes; aroma of floral honey, dried apricot, yeast and grainy notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some earthy-white wine like notes; great tripel

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca fine persistente, color giallo oro limpido, al naso lieviti belgi banana spezie, in bocca frutta a pasta gialla pera marmellata di pesche, carbonazione moderata, corpo rotondo, alcool ben bilanciato, dolce con amaro moderato lungo nel finale. Non male, dai… mi è piaciuta. c. UNES Maccagno 17.10.20

On tap at Le Wellington, Waterloo, on the shadow of the Lion's Mound. A pale golden pour with a rocky, off-white head. Aroma is intense but simple: quince, conifer. Period. Soft and refreshing, meidum-bodied, neither very bitter nor long. It drinks more like a pale ale than a tripel, if you ask me.
