2015 Series Batch No. 01

A special batch of classic Stone Imperial Russian Stout, a rich, massively aromatic beer with notes of black currants, coffee and roastiness, was brewed to create this barrel-aged beauty.

The second edition of this profoundly flavorful beer will continue to overwhelm all but the most stalwart beer fanatics with its intensity. Rich coffee and bitter and milk chocolate flavors abound, while dark charred oak, rich vanilla and caramel from the bourbon barrels elevate and further enhance the heady flavors of the original beer. This dark gem's name is a tip of the hat to Fyodor Dostoyevsky, one of the greatest, most influential novelists of Russia’s Golden Age.

Batch 01. 500ml corked bottle. 2015 series? But vintage 2014?? Beer name: fyodor's Classic. Dark bottle from smakPiwa.pl. 13% nie za wielka piana ale fajnie ciemna skorupy orzechow wloskich. Ciecz czarna nie przejrzyste, mocno barwi szklo. Zapach malo intensywny mocna i gorzka kawa z lyzeczka kakao bez cukru, tak szalenie wytrawne, czekolada z 90%kakao zalana espresso. Smaczne ale bez wiekszego wymiaru by mozna mowic ze piwo wybitne, ocena druzgocaco zawyzona. Raczej zawod za taka cene. Taste and drink in November 2023

2015 Fyodor's Classic. Pitch black, small tan head. Heavy caramel, sweetish, barrel, mild orange liqueur. Spicy full malty dry taste, fresh, nicely integrated barrel, alcohol, lovely really. Orange liqueur, dark grapes, dry. I actually dig this quite a bit! Unsurprisingly, heh.

TST/TWAT. 🙏Maakun. Black with no head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, dark fruit, blackberries, prune, bourbon, vanilla, licorice, burnt marshmallow, mild spices. Big sweet, over moderate bitter. Full body bit dry & low carb. Nice balls out stout.
