Catalyst: Sherry + Bourbon - Barrel Aged Stout
Catalyst is our non-adjunct lineup meant to showcase how unique barrel aged beers can be depending on the barrels chosen and time spent developing in them.
For this iteration, we used a single barrel that had first aged in Willett Bourbon for 14months, and then Sherry barrels for 6 months. The flavors imparted by the barrels and base can be described as chocolate covered raisins, intense oak, roasted walnuts, caramel, lingering bourbon heat, and a subtle finish of mixed baking spices

Taster via Keukenman, thuis geprobeerd. Het is een pikzwart bier met een aroma van zoete sherry en houtige tonen. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, chocolade, zoete sherry, rozijnen en Bourbon in de afdronk.
