Purely for new brewery tick, not sure where the cold storage part comes in it’s confusing see these guys listed as just Florida Avenue everywhere. There was a an expensive draft of Anchorage that I’m sure I’d prefer but being cheap and chasing stats went here. Clear light gold. Nose is faint citrus and cardboard. Bitter for sure with medicinal, cardboard, lemon, herbal tastes all in not that pleasant a way. Eh

Bottle thanks to Ben. Pours a cloudy copper with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is pine, spruce, grapefruit. Medium mouth, pine, citrus, light bitterness, decent.

A somewhat soapy IPA, loads of papaya notes in the hop profile, with some pine as well. A little thin and unbalanced. Okay beer.

Draft. Aroma is a very mild pine and bready malt. The flavor is mostly malt, the hop is all in the nose, pine is very hard to pick out. Low bitterness makes me think that this is a weak APA at best. The body is thin with a mineral water element. They need more hops here.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/7/2015. Pours slightly hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of light grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and bready malt sweetness; with decent strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid IPA. Good robustness and balance of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Whole Foods Market, Sarasota. Clear golden colour, with a white head. Nose is hoppy, citric, light malted. Flavour is light malty, hoppy, citric, fruity. Not overly hoppy. Well drinkable. Medium carbonation.

Slightly hazy honey and golden coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light cascade hops, some honey and funky malt, a bit astringent in the nose. Light-bodied; Mild hop flavour with some very subdued malt, a hint of grass and hay and very little else. Aftertaste shows mostly stale malt with some light hops, a hint of sweetness and some herbal and grassy notes at the tail end, but they don’t last long. Overall, a pretty mild IPA with not many good flavours and a few bad ones. Relatively weak in all respects, but not really a beer worth searching out nor one to bring back home! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 03-January-2014 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 02-March-2014.

Shaker pint draft at the Riverside Market Cafe in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The pour is mostly clear orange copper with a well formed one inch off white head. The aroma is soft grass floral hops, and a bit of toasted malt. The taste is the nose, nice balance between the grassy hops and the cracker lightly toasted malt. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation and a dry clean finish. Solid IPA, though a bit dull.
